LondHome Limited had tendered for a subcontract on a large site in Harrow for internal carpentry and fitting of fire doors over the length of a 4 month contract the requirements were for the 12 site workers to have the appropriate level CSCS skills cards, as well as Fire door certification and relevant CPD for site. CFT was able to provide 4 CSCS Card renewals, 2 Full new Green Cards 6 NVQ's and Blue cards and all relevant CPD ready for the start of the contract. This Training would normally cost in excess of £10000 but thanks to CFT's funding streams the actual cost to LondHome Limited was less than £1000. LondHome was also able to demonstrate that this training represented extra value for the main contractor under the Section 106/ Infrastructure Levy contract requirements with social value and training of local workforce, this has resulted in LondHome winning new work with this Contractor.
